Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in a customer service or cashier position preferred
  • Ability to accurately handle cash and operate a cash register
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Assist guests by describing menu offerings and explaining the ordering system
  • Ensure line products are always available
  • Handle payments accurately
  • Process to-go orders and assist at Buffet by the Pound station
  • Be friendly and courteous on the phone
  • Offer assistance to guests who need help
  • Follow the Five Steps of Line Service
  • Open and close the line area efficiently
  • Report equipment problems to the Manager
  • Communicate cash levels in the drawer to the Manager
  • Assist with buffet and server area duties as directed
  • Perform Cleanliness, Service, and Quality responsibilities
  • Ensure smallwares are clean, dry, and available
  • Follow local health department laws
  • Perform other functions as needed for guest satisfaction
