Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- ability to stand for extended periods and move and lift boxes up to 25 pounds
- punctuality and reliability to work variable hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- adherence to Smashburger uniform policy
- ability to complete required training
- compliance with local, state, and federal employment regulations
- eligibility to work in the United States with valid work documentation
- participation in E-Verify program

Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile
- promote a fun and positive work environment
- work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with cooks and managers
- be knowledgeable of all menu items to make meal suggestions and answer questions
- verify each guest order for accuracy and manage to-go orders
- process point-of-sale transactions and follow cash handling procedures
- visit tables after food delivery to ensure guests have everything they need
- adhere to all active marketing promotions and encourage guests to complete surveys
- foster and maintain a safe work environment by following all personal and food safety standards
- keep floors, counters, dining area, and restrooms clean using company-approved cleaning products
- listen, communicate, and work well with others in a busy restaurant environment
- uphold integrity and do the right thing even when not observed
- follow company cash policies to minimize losses
- upsell food items through thoughtful suggestions
- follow order accuracy procedures to ensure guest satisfaction and minimize waste
