Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes up to 25 lbs
- successful completion of Smashburger training program
- punctuality and availability to work variable hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- adherence to Smashburger uniform policy
- ability to follow company and regulatory guidelines
- must be authorized to work in the U.S. and participate in E-Verify

Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile and welcome new and repeat guests
- promote a fun and positive work environment
- work effectively with others on the line and communicate with cooks and managers
- be knowledgeable of all menu items to make meal suggestions and answer questions
- verify guest orders for accuracy, manage to-go orders, and process POS transactions following cash handling procedures
- visit tables after food delivery to ensure guests have everything they need and their experience is perfect
- adhere to marketing promotions and encourage guest survey participation
- follow personal and food safety and security standards to maintain a safe work environment
- maintain cleanliness of floors, counters, dining areas, and restrooms
- uphold company cash policies to minimize losses
- upsell food items through thoughtful suggestions
- follow company order accuracy procedures to ensure guest satisfaction and reduce waste
