Job Requirements

Current and valid drivers' license
professional demeanor, behavior, and appearance in accordance with company policy
ability to perform all essential functions safely without endangering oneself or others
ability to comply with local/state health code requirements for soda fountain and food service/sales
meet local/state minimum age requirements for sale of tobacco and alcohol sales (where applicable)
ability to complete all required trainings/certifications required to perform any of the required functions

Job Duties

Provide excellent and timely customer service to create a pleasant experience for customers
pro-actively greet customers entering the convenience store, pay terminal area, or fuel pumps and be responsive to their needs
effectively present and sell car wash services, memberships, and additional purchase options to customers to achieve sales and revenue goals for the location
maintain a safe, clean and organized environment to ensure a positive visit for every customer including outside areas such as gas pump islands, payment terminal, and entrance to tunnel and inside areas such as counters, merchandise display areas, restrooms, and customer waiting areas
keep convenience store merchandise stocked and organized, displays clean and well presented, take inventory of merchandise levels as directed by store management
maintain point-of-sale transaction, sales, and cash drawer integrity by following procedures accurately
follow Waterway policies, procedures, guidance, and instructions, including those related to safety
perform various administrative tasks, such as making bank deposits, picking up or delivering supplies from other stores or retailers
perform various transactional functions to meet customer demand and store staffing needs
various other functions as identified and directed by management
