Job Requirements

- Successfully complete Smashburger training program
- Be at least 16 years old
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes up to 25 lbs
- Ability to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Adhere to Smashburger uniform policy
- Ability to follow all employment regulations
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and participate in E-Verify

Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile
- Promote a fun and positive work environment
- Work effectively as a team member with cooks and managers
- Be knowledgeable of all menu items to make meal suggestions and answer questions
- Verify guest orders for accuracy, manage to-go orders, process POS transactions, and follow cash handling procedures
- Visit tables after food delivery to ensure guest satisfaction
- Adhere to marketing promotions and encourage guests to complete surveys
- Follow all personal and food safety and security standards
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, counters, dining area, and restrooms
- Listen and communicate effectively in a busy restaurant environment
- Value integrity and honesty at all times
- Follow company cash policies to minimize losses
- Upsell food items through thoughtful suggestions
- Follow order accuracy procedures
