Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work variable hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Adherence to uniform policy
  • Ability to follow company and legal employment guidelines
  • Must produce authorized U.S. work documents
  • Must complete Smashburger training program
  • Must demonstrate punctuality and reliability

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a smile
  • Promote a fun and positive work environment
  • Work effectively with others on the line and communicate with cooks and managers
  • Be knowledgeable of all menu items to answer questions and make meal suggestions
  • Verify guest orders for accuracy and process POS transactions
  • Visit tables after food delivery to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Adhere to marketing promotions and encourage guest feedback surveys
  • Follow all personal and food safety and security standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors, counters, dining areas, and restrooms
  • Follow company cash policies to minimize losses
  • Upsell food items through thoughtful suggestions
  • Follow order accuracy procedures to ensure guest satisfaction and minimize waste
