- ServSafe or Food Service Handler Certification preferred
Job Duties
- follow cash handling procedures as outlined in university and departmental policies
- operate point-of-sale system accurately including card transactions and change counting
- establish and maintain positive customer relations
- greet and assist customers including those with disabilities
- respond to customer inquiries regarding meal plans, pricing, and services
- maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- monitor security and safety at public entrances
- control unauthorized access
- report and resolve spills, damages, or hazards
- set up and replenish food and beverage stations
- assist with basic food preparation and adhere to safety and sanitation standards
