Job Requirements
- High school degree, GED or equivalent
- excellent verbal communication skills in English and Spanish (preferred)
- ability to work well under pressure and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies
- exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- ability to be mobile for a minimum of 6 hours
Job Qualifications
- Proven minimum of 1 year of experience as a bartender in a similar upscale hospitality setting
- willing to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- comprehensive knowledge of craft cocktails, liquors, beers, wines, and tobacco products
- excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- computer literacy
- positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- customer services oriented
- ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean
Job Duties
- Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and patrons
- interact with customers, taking orders, and serving snacks and drinks
- display a deep knowledge of our menu, including liquors, beers, wines
- assess bar customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
- prepare and maintain ingredients by following recipes
- plan and present bar menu
- coordinate daily supply inventory for bar and submit orders to supervisor
- assist with receipt of deliveries
- check customers' identification and confirm they meet the legal drinking age
- restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- listen to customer complaints and suggestions and resolve complaints
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- comply with all food and beverage regulations
