Job Requirements
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of restaurant practices and procedures
- Ability to stand for entire shift and walk long periods without rest
- Ability to push, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use hands for handling objects and controls
- Ability to bend, stoop, and verbally communicate with others
- Ability to use close and distance vision and adjust focus
- Must be able to access all areas of the restaurant
- Dependability and exceptional teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 0-2 years related restaurant experience
- Strong knowledge of restaurant practices and procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties effectively
- Dependability and attention to detail
- Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Familiarity with safe food handling procedures
Job Duties
- Greet all guests in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner
- Understand and utilize menu knowledge and situational selling techniques when placing orders for carryout guests
- Package food and beverage orders, condiments, and appropriate items promptly and accurately
- Ensure items are prepared properly and on a timely basis, following company standards
- Communicate professionally with guests to determine their needs and help with menu selections
- Use a headset to communicate with managers and teammates to expedite guest experience
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately including cash, credit cards, coupons, and gift cards
- Practice safe food and beverage handling and maintain cleanliness
- Keep carry out area clean and stocked
- Safely handle food prep equipment
- Monitor cleanliness, organization, and stock levels of bakery and retail areas
- Handle guest complaints and involve manager when needed
- Answer phone calls using company script
- Accurately input carry out orders into system
- Assist in expediting and delivering meals to dine-in guests
- Assist with greeting and seating guests
- Assist with cashing out guests if cashier unavailable
- Assist with pre-bussing tables and rolling silverware
- Perform other duties as assigned
