Job Duties
- greet all guests in a friendly warm and welcoming manner
- understand and utilize menu knowledge and situational selling techniques when placing orders for carryout guests
- package food and beverage orders condiments and appropriate items promptly and accurately following company standards
- communicate professionally with guests to determine their needs and help with menu selections
- wear a headset to communicate with managers and teammates to expedite guest experience
- handle cash and credit transactions accurately accounting for all receivables including cash credit cards coupons and gift cards
- practice safe food and beverage handling and maintain cleanliness
- keep carry out area clean of debris and keep general work area stocked and clean
- safely handle food prep equipment such as beverage machines salad cases etc
- monitor cleanliness organization and stock levels of bakery and retail areas
- effectively handle guest complaints and involve manager when appropriate
- answer phone calls using company script quickly and friendly
- accurately input carry out orders into the computer system
- assist in expediting and delivery of meals to dine-in guests
- assist in greeting and escorting guests to tables
- assist in cashing guests out if cashier is unavailable
- assist with pre-bussing tables rolling silverware or other needed tasks
- perform all other assigned duties
