Job Duties

  • greet all guests in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner
  • understand and utilize menu knowledge and situational selling techniques when placing orders for carryout guests
  • package food and beverage orders, condiments, and appropriate items promptly and accurately
  • ensure items are prepared properly and on a timely basis following company standards
  • communicate professionally with guests to determine their needs and help with menu selections
  • wear a headset to communicate with managers and teammates to expedite the guest experience
  • handle cash and credit transactions accurately accounting for all receivables including cash, credit cards, coupons, and gift cards
  • practice safe food and beverage handling and maintain cleanliness
  • keep carry out area clean and stocked
  • safely handle food prep equipment such as beverage machines and salad cases
  • monitor the cleanliness, organization and stock levels of bakery and retail areas
  • effectively handle guest complaints and involve manager as appropriate
  • answer phone calls using company script per meal period in a fast and friendly manner
  • accurately input carry out orders into the computer system
  • assist in expediting and delivery of meals to dine-in guests
  • assist in greeting guests and escorting guests to tables
  • assist in cashing guests out if cashier is not available
  • assist with pre-bussing tables, rolling silverware or any other needed tasks
  • may be asked to assist in other job categories as well
  • perform all other duties as assigned
