Job Duties
- greet all guests in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner
- understand and utilize menu knowledge and situational selling techniques when placing orders for carryout guests
- package food and beverage orders, condiments, and appropriate items promptly and accurately
- ensure items are prepared properly and on a timely basis following company standards
- communicate professionally with guests to determine their needs and help with menu selections
- wear a headset to communicate with managers and teammates to expedite the guest experience
- handle cash and credit transactions accurately accounting for all receivables including cash, credit cards, coupons, and gift cards
- practice safe food and beverage handling and maintain cleanliness
- keep carry out area clean and stocked
- safely handle food prep equipment such as beverage machines and salad cases
- monitor the cleanliness, organization and stock levels of bakery and retail areas
- effectively handle guest complaints and involve manager as appropriate
- answer phone calls using company script per meal period in a fast and friendly manner
- accurately input carry out orders into the computer system
- assist in expediting and delivery of meals to dine-in guests
- assist in greeting guests and escorting guests to tables
- assist in cashing guests out if cashier is not available
- assist with pre-bussing tables, rolling silverware or any other needed tasks
- may be asked to assist in other job categories as well
- perform all other duties as assigned
