Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods without rest or sitting

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 0-2 years related restaurant experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant environment
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask efficiently
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Dependability and exceptional teamwork skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members

Job Duties

  • Greet all guests in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner
  • Understand and utilize menu knowledge and situational selling techniques when placing orders for carryout guests
  • Package food and beverage orders, condiments, and appropriate items promptly and accurately according to company standards
  • Communicate professionally with guests to determine their needs and assist with menu selections
  • Wear a headset to communicate with managers and teammates to help expedite the guest experience
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, including cash, credit cards, coupons, and gift cards
  • Practice safe food and beverage handling and maintain cleanliness of carry out and general work areas
  • Safely handle food prep equipment such as beverage machines and salad cases
  • Monitor cleanliness, organization, and stock levels of bakery and retail areas
  • Effectively handle guest complaints and involve management at appropriate times
  • Answer phone calls using company script in a fast and friendly manner
  • Accurately input carry out orders into the computer system
  • Assist in expediting and delivering meals to dine-in guests
  • Assist in greeting guests and escorting them to tables
  • Assist in cashing guests out in absence of a cashier
  • Assist with pre-bussing tables and rolling silverware
  • May be asked to assist in other job categories as needed
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
