Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods without rest or sitting
- Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to reach with hands and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls

- Ability to verbally communicate with others

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 0-2 years of related experience in a restaurant environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detail oriented with the ability to multitask
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
Job Duties
- Greet all guests in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner
- Understand and utilize menu knowledge and situational selling techniques when placing orders for carryout guests
- Package food and beverage orders, condiments, and appropriate items promptly and accurately, ensuring items are prepared properly and on a timely basis following company standards
- Communicate professionally with guests to determine their needs and help them with menu selections
- Wear a headset to communicate with managers and teammates to expedite the guest experience
- Handle cash and credit transactions, accurately accounting for all receivables including cash, credit cards, coupons, and gift cards
- Practice safe food and beverage handling and maintain cleanliness
- Keep carry out area clean of debris and keep the general work area stocked and clean
- Safely handle food prep equipment such as beverage machines and salad cases
- Monitor cleanliness, organization, and stock levels of the bakery and retail areas
- Handle guest complaints effectively and involve the manager when appropriate
- Answer phone calls using company scripts in a fast and friendly manner
- Accurately input carry out orders into the computer system
- Assist in expediting and delivery of meals to dine-in guests
- Assist in greeting guests, escorting guests to tables, cashing guests out if cashier is unavailable, pre-bussing tables, rolling silverware, and other tasks as needed
- May be asked to assist in other job categories as assigned
- Perform all other duties as assigned
