Job Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for long periods without rest
Capable of pushing, lifting, carrying, or transferring up to 50 pounds
Ability to use hands and fingers for handling tools and controls
Ability to bend, stoop, and perform physically demanding tasks
Strong verbal communication skills
Ability to see clearly and adjust focus including color and peripheral vision
Able to access all areas of the restaurant including selling floor, stock, and register areas
0-2 years related experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform duties dependably and with teamwork

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
0-2 years related experience in a restaurant or customer service setting
Strong knowledge of restaurant concepts, menu items, and standard practices
Ability to utilize situational selling techniques and product knowledge
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Basic math skills for handling cash and credit transactions
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Dependability and strong teamwork orientation
Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
Capable of operating food preparation equipment safely

Job Duties

Greet all guests in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner
Understand and utilize menu knowledge and situational selling when placing carryout orders
Package food and beverage orders accurately and promptly ensuring proper preparation
Communicate professionally with guests to determine their needs
Wear a headset to communicate with managers and team members to expedite service
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately including coupons and gift cards
Practice safe food and beverage handling and maintain cleanliness
Keep carry out area and general work areas clean and well stocked
Safely operate food prep equipment such as beverage machines and salad cases
Monitor cleanliness and stock levels of bakery and retail areas
Effectively handle guest complaints and involve management as necessary
Answer phone calls using company scripts quickly and friendly
Accurately input carryout orders into the computer system
Assist in expediting and delivering meals to dine-in guests
Support greeting guests, escorting to tables, cashing out, pre-bussing, rolling silverware and other assigned duties
