Job Requirements
- be at least 18 years of age
- able to work upwards of 47 hours per week
- capable of standing, bending, stooping for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
- possess or obtain a food handler's permit within 30 days
- have a current driver license with clean driving record
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous management experience in restaurant or food service industry preferred
- strong leadership and team-building skills
- excellent communication abilities
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- knowledge of labor budgeting and cost control
- ability to obtain food handler's permit within 30 days of employment
Job Duties
- utilize labor effectively to meet budgets
- analyze business performance and monitor controllable costs
- initiate corrective actions when necessary
- ensure compliance with state and federal laws and company policies
- supervise and mentor employees regularly
- train, coach, and provide performance feedback
- make employment decisions including hiring, discipline, advancement, termination, and compensation
