Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be able to work upwards of 47 hours per week as dictated by business need
- Able to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- In possession of or able to obtain a food handler's permit within 30 days of starting
- Current driver license and clean driving record
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in restaurant or retail management preferred
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to analyze business performance and control costs
- Familiarity with state and federal employment laws
- Ability to obtain a food handler's permit within 30 days of employment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Utilize labor effectively to meet budgets while ensuring high quality standards
- Analyze business performance
- Monitor controllable costs and initiate corrective actions when necessary
- Ensure business and personnel practices comply with state and federal laws and company policies
- Supervise and mentor employees regularly
- Train, coach, and provide performance feedback to employees
- Make employment decisions including hiring, discipline, advancement, termination, and compensation
- Communicate business and team goals and expectations
- Recognize and reward employees who positively impact the business
