Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • one year of retail or related experience preferred
  • good verbal communication skills
  • ability to interact politely and effectively with customers
  • good customer service and organizational skills
  • basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills
  • able to lift and move up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • capable of standing and walking for extended periods
  • able to bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
  • able to work in varied temperature retail environment
  • must adhere to safety and food handling standards
  • must follow PPE and safety guidelines

Job Duties

  • Prepare coffee shop beverages
  • prepare food items according to procedures
  • ensure food and beverages are handled safely and the work environment is clean
  • operate cash register and process various payment methods
  • stock and rotate coffee items and merchandise
  • maintain knowledge of store programs and product locations
  • use check-stand and coffee shop equipment efficiently
  • notify manager about product and supply needs
  • comply with company policies on security, cash handling, and product handling
  • maintain a clean and well-stocked department following safety and sanitation standards
  • communicate store programs, specials, and coupons to customers
  • follow PPE and safety guidelines
  • follow food safety and cleaning expectations
  • follow guest experience guidelines
  • assist in other departments as needed
  • perform additional responsibilities as assigned
