Job Requirements
- Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to be flexible based on business needs
- Ability to abide by SONIC appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Contagiously positive attitude
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to roller skate proficiently on various surfaces (for skating Carhops)
- Ability to continuously stand, balance, carry a tray, and sweep while skating
Job Qualifications
- Friendly and smiling demeanor with a passion for courteous service
- Effective communication skills including basic math and reading
- Ability to roll skate proficiently (for skating Carhop positions)
- Team player with a focus on cleanliness and safety
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
- General knowledge or experience in restaurant or retail preferred but not required
- Completion of SONIC Skating Training Program for skating Carhops
Job Duties
- Delivering a warm, friendly, and fast experience to every guest
- Being a menu genius and helping SONIC customers navigate all customizable combinations
- Being empowered to resolve customer concerns, guaranteeing every guest leaves satisfied
- Maintaining SONIC safety and sanitation standards
- Working flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Cross-training on all stations to keep the workday engaging
- Upholding appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards as per company policy
