The Waller Group is actively seeking enthusiastic individuals to join the iconic SONIC Drive-In restaurant team as Carhops, including the unique and exciting role of Skating Carhop servers. Job Requirements
- Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- flexibility to adapt to business needs
- willingness to abide by SONIC appearance, uniform and hygiene standards
- successful completion of SONIC Skating Training Program (for Skating Carhops)
- roller skate proficiency (for Skating Carhops)
- ability to stand, balance, carry trays and sweep while roller skating (for Skating Carhops)
Job Qualifications
- Friendly and smiling demeanor
- enjoyment in providing courteous customer service
- willingness to cross-train on all stations
- team player focused on cleanliness and safety
- effective communication skills
- basic math and reading skills
- general knowledge of restaurant or retail operations preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Ensure all restaurant menu items meet operational standards
- greet guests politely and friendly with a smile
- make accurate change quickly and efficiently
- carry and balance trays weighing up to 25 pounds
- serve guests in a timely manner
- clear trays from guests' cars
- complete SONIC Skating Training Program (for Skating Carhops)
- perform duties while roller skating (for Skating Carhops)
