Job Requirements
- Must be able to pass a ten-year background check as required by US Customs
- Must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds
- Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- Work is done primarily outdoors and candidate must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Must pass an FBI background check and obtain a custom seal
- Must pass driver’s test with the Department of Airports and obtain a driver’s license to drive on Airport Operational Area
- Must pass all pre-employment testing including drug testing and ten-year background check as required by US Customs
Job Qualifications
- One year college certificate or technical school
- Six months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Experience in aviation industry is a plus
Job Duties
- Ensure proper staffing is scheduled for office staff
- Perform general office duties including filing, answering telephones, mail distribution, and composing correspondence
- Participate in interviewing process, conduct performance evaluations, issue disciplinary actions, and collaborate with General Manager on decisions
- Monitor attendance records and address lateness, absences, and manual miss punches
- Ensure compliance documentation is prepared according to airline, FAA, DOT, and regulatory agency guidelines
- Interact with TSA, CBP, Agriculture agents and other authorities
- Provide excellent customer service at the counter and over the phone
- Resolve employee concerns and submit to manager for action
- Monitor and order station supply levels
- Perform other duties as assigned
