Job Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a ten-year background check as required by US Customs
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds
  • Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Work is done primarily outdoors and candidate must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
  • Must pass an FBI background check and obtain a custom seal
  • Must pass driver’s test with the Department of Airports and obtain a driver’s license to drive on Airport Operational Area
  • Must pass all pre-employment testing including drug testing and ten-year background check as required by US Customs

Job Qualifications

  • One year college certificate or technical school
  • Six months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • Experience in aviation industry is a plus

Job Duties

  • Ensure proper staffing is scheduled for office staff
  • Perform general office duties including filing, answering telephones, mail distribution, and composing correspondence
  • Participate in interviewing process, conduct performance evaluations, issue disciplinary actions, and collaborate with General Manager on decisions
  • Monitor attendance records and address lateness, absences, and manual miss punches
  • Ensure compliance documentation is prepared according to airline, FAA, DOT, and regulatory agency guidelines
  • Interact with TSA, CBP, Agriculture agents and other authorities
  • Provide excellent customer service at the counter and over the phone
  • Resolve employee concerns and submit to manager for action
  • Monitor and order station supply levels
  • Perform other duties as assigned
