Job Requirements

  • One year college certificate or technical school
  • six months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • must be able to pass a ten-year background check as required by US Customs
  • must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds
  • must be able to speak, read, and write in English proficiently
  • valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
  • work is done primarily outdoors and must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
  • must pass FBI background check and obtain customs seal
  • must pass Department of Airports driver’s test and obtain license to drive on Airport Operational Area
  • must pass all pre-employment tests including drug testing and required background checks

Job Qualifications

  • aviation industry experience a plus
  • proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English
  • valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • ability to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
  • comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • ability to pass FBI background check and obtain customs seal
  • ability to pass Department of Airports driver’s test to drive on Airport Operational Area
  • ability to pass a ten-year background check as required by US Customs

Job Duties

  • Ensure proper staffing is scheduled for office staff
  • perform general office duties including filing, answering telephones, mail distribution and composing correspondence
  • participate in the interviewing process, conduct performance evaluations, issue disciplinary actions and collaborate with the General Manager on final personnel decisions
  • keep track of attendance records and monitor lateness, absence, and manual miss punches
  • ensure proper documentation is prepared to maintain compliance with airline guidelines, FAA, DOT and other regulatory agencies
  • interact with authorities including TSA, CBP, and Agriculture agents
  • provide excellent customer service to all customers at the counter and over the phone
  • resolve employee concerns and submit issues to management for action
  • monitor station supply levels and order as necessary
  • perform other duties as assigned
