Job Duties
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve freight and cargo handling goals
- Greet customers professionally and assist with the acceptance and documentation of deliveries
- Ensure freight is properly marked, labeled, and staged in inventory areas
- Conduct inventory audits and make necessary corrections
- Pull freight from inventories accurately and efficiently to meet flight manifest requirements
- Load and secure cargo onto aircraft following safety standards
- Support arriving flights with cargo handling and documentation
- Understand and follow company manuals, instructions, and training materials
- Operate warehouse and office equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, and vehicles safely
- Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse, ramp, and aircraft areas
- Handle freight, cargo, and USPS mails between facilities and businesses
- Assist in loading and unloading cargo at final destinations
- Provide operational support tasks such as aircraft pre-heating, cleaning, towing, and ground power operations
- Maintain a clean and organized ramp and freight storage area
- Perform additional duties as assigned, supporting various Everts Air departments
