- complete Request for Computer Access form from USPS

Job Duties
- Induct bypass, non-priority and priority mail into the transportation system including stacking, shrink-wrapping, bagging and proper storage
- operate company equipment in warehouse and post office including forklifts, box trucks and pallet jacks
- conduct daily inspections of forklifts, box trucks and chip containers
- maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment including emptying trash cans, cleaning box trucks and warehouse
- organize and consolidate freight and mail in preparation for loading
- stage freight and mail for flights
- assist with ground power unit connections and start-up on aircraft
- complete aircraft preparation duties prior to loading flights
- safely and efficiently load aircraft using forklifts, belt loaders, bob-tail trucks, chain carts, dollies and scissor lift trucks
- use support tools such as pipe rollers, vehicle dollies, pallet jacks, toothpicks and pry bars during loading and unloading
- perform safety-related functions such as securing cargo loads with straps and nets and securing cargo doors
- assist with connecting aircraft power units, placement of wheel chocks and air stairs
- occasionally fly on aircraft to final destination to assist loading and unloading
- transfer mail to post office or other air carriers as directed
- maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment including outdoor trash removal, ramp area cleaning, equipment maintenance and post-load clean-up of foreign object debris from ramp and aircraft areas
