Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience caring for seniors and/or disabled adults
- Certification preferred but not mandatory
- Valid driver’s license required
- Valid car insurance required
- Reliable transportation needed
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Must be dependable and professional
- Compassionate attitude towards assisting others
- Prior experience with dementia or Alzheimer’s care advantageous
- CNA credential considered a plus
Job Qualifications
- One year of experience in caring for seniors and/or disabled adults, professionally or personally
- Certifications are a plus but not required
- Ability to keep state license updated if certified
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid car insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Clean background check and drug screening
- Strong professionalism and reliability
- Genuine enjoyment in assisting others
- Experience with Dementia/Alzheimer’s care a plus
- CNA certification a plus
Job Duties
- Provide in-home care for elderly care recipients
- Answer phone for 411 emergency call off
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, light housekeeping and household chores such as laundry, kitchen and bedroom cleanup, and sheet changes
- Provide medication reminders
- Implement fall prevention strategies
- Perform all tasks as non-medical care
- Maintain professionalism and reliability
