Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Nursing Assistant Certification for Long Term Care roles
- Ability to work weekends and scheduled holidays
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Demonstrated alignment with PHS Christian Ministry values
- Willingness to perform physical tasks related to caregiving
- Ability to follow safety and care protocols
- Flexibility to work temporary shifts with potential for permanent employment
Job Qualifications
- Caregiving experience preferred but not required
- Nursing Assistant Certification required for Long Term Care
- No certifications required for Assisted Living
- Demonstrated compatibility with the PHS mission and operating philosophies
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Commitment to work weekends and scheduled holidays
Job Duties
- Perform activities of daily living (ADLs) as scheduled and assist other Resident Assistants as needed while maintaining consistency with regulations and established best practices
- Monitor changes in resident’s condition
- Transfer and assist residents with mobility using various methods such as gait belt and mechanical lifts
- Ensure residents are cared for with dignity
- Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and team members
- Adhere to all safety and compliance guidelines
- Support the vibrant and thriving community atmosphere at Dickson Hollow
