Job Requirements
- High school education or GED equivalent preferred
- Nursing assistant course recommended
- First aid certification and CPR if required
- Must meet state training requirements and certifications
- Nursing assistant certification desirable
- Basic competency in Microsoft Office and technology applications
- Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Monitor residents' well-being and report changes immediately
- Assist residents with simple requests or find appropriate assistance
- Learn resident preferences to provide exemplary customer service
- Supervise or assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, ambulation and other daily living activities
- Provide companionship and develop strong resident relations
- Respond to emergencies according to policies and procedures
- Help residents with assistive devices such as walkers and wheelchairs
- Encourage self-care of residents
- Document care provided consistent with standards
- Provide input to care services leadership to ensure service plans are current
- Review reports and care checklists regularly
- Maintain resident confidentiality and privacy
- Practice infection control and safe work practices
- Observe and document resident status
- Cover customer service desk if necessary
- Answer telephone according to company policies
- Support and participate in resident-centered wellness programs
- Resolve resident questions per policies
- Greet and direct visitors including family and prospects
- Assist with community events and marketing
- Encourage social interaction and wellness programming
- Maintain community common areas
- Maintain resident room upkeep
- Assist with resident laundry
- Support open communication among associates
- Work collaboratively as part of team
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance
- Seek ways to reduce costs and improve efficiencies
- Ensure regulatory compliance and report concerns
- Support continuous improvement
- Adhere to all laws, regulations, and company standards
- Understand and support community sales process
- Perform other duties as required
