Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least 6 months experience in a caregiving role
- completion of employer-provided pre-employment training
- must obtain current CPR/1st Aid certification
- must have Oregon Food Handlers Permit
- availability to work weekends and flexible schedule
- basic computer and smartphone application skills
- ability to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies and procedures
- effective communication skills with clients, coworkers and management
Job Qualifications
- a passion for working with seniors
- at least 6 months experience in a caregiving role
- completion of paid pre-employment trainings provided during onboarding
- current CPR/1st Aid training (employer provided)
- Oregon Food Handlers Permit
- ability to work weekends and some schedule flexibility
- caregiver experience preferred but not required
Job Duties
- provides general attention to residents needs
- documents all activities of daily living for each resident
- provides companionship and observes to ensure safety and to report condition changes
- completes light housekeeping tasks
- maintains confidentiality regarding residents and the care
- maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance
- displays excellent communication and remains calm and courteous under pressure
