Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 6 months experience in a caregiving role
  • completion of employer-provided pre-employment training
  • must obtain current CPR/1st Aid certification
  • must have Oregon Food Handlers Permit
  • availability to work weekends and flexible schedule
  • basic computer and smartphone application skills
  • ability to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies and procedures
  • effective communication skills with clients, coworkers and management

Job Qualifications

  • a passion for working with seniors
  • at least 6 months experience in a caregiving role
  • completion of paid pre-employment trainings provided during onboarding
  • current CPR/1st Aid training (employer provided)
  • Oregon Food Handlers Permit
  • ability to work weekends and some schedule flexibility
  • caregiver experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • provides general attention to residents needs
  • documents all activities of daily living for each resident
  • provides companionship and observes to ensure safety and to report condition changes
  • completes light housekeeping tasks
  • maintains confidentiality regarding residents and the care
  • maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance
  • displays excellent communication and remains calm and courteous under pressure
