Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Active South Carolina driver's license for the last 12 months
- Car registration and vehicle insurance if providing transportation
- Complete all state-required training and certifications within mandated timeframes
- Maintain valid driver's license and meet company driving record requirements
- Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months of experience in human services preferred
- Working knowledge of computers
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform heavy work
Job Duties
- Provide direct support according to individual service plans
- Assist with socialization, personal care, and behavioral development
- Administer or support medication management
- Assist with daily activities including housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, shopping, and community integration
- Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality
- Report abuse, neglect, and incidents per policy
- Maintain relationships with individuals, families, and case managers
