Job Requirements
- High school degree and/or GED certificate
- Successful completion of a written Competency Evaluation
- Sympathy towards the care of the sick and ability to handle job demands
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English with or without accommodations
- Ability to lift required weight with or without accommodations
- Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a vehicle with or without accommodations

Job Duties
- Assist clients with homemaking activities such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, laundry, and cleaning bathrooms while spending less than 20 percent of time on general household work
- Provide companionship by accompanying clients on walks, trips to social or recreational activities, and assistance with hobbies
- Prepare meals and handle grocery shopping as needed
- Maintain open and effective communication with clients and team members
- Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Manage travel time between clients with paid mileage and paid travel time
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance caregiving skills
