Job Requirements
- Equivalent to bachelor’s degree
- Two years of related experience
- Valid CA driver’s license
- Ability to occasionally drive to events and meetings
- Ability to communicate with ethnically and culturally diverse populations
- Ability to follow university policies and procedures
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to handle confidential matters professionally
- Willingness to contribute to a positive and inclusive campus environment
- Ability to perform light physical tasks such as lifting medium weight objects and standing or walking 10-20% of the time
Job Qualifications
- Equivalent to bachelor’s degree
- Two years of related experience
- Experience working with diverse student populations preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
- Skills in database management and Career Services Management Systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Ability to exercise sound time management and independent judgment
Job Duties
- Coordinate, plan, develop and implement administrative policies and procedures for career events
- Initiate and maintain relationships with employers providing internships and jobs
- Serve as liaison between employers and students through various communication methods
- Lead development and enhancement of Career Services Management system
- Represent Career Development Center on campus committees
- Facilitate employer engagement through on-site and virtual visits
- Oversee execution of job fairs, recruitment events, on-campus interviews, and information sessions
