Job Duties
- managing front desk operations including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, and referral coordination
- verifying insurance coverage, processing authorizations, and collecting payments
- maintaining accurate patient records by registering new patients, updating information in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, and preparing necessary documentation
- answering phone calls and assisting patients in a courteous and professional manner
- upholding HIPAA compliance and fostering a welcoming healthcare environment
