  • Previous experience in a similar front desk or medical receptionist role desired but not required
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism

Job Duties

  • Managing front desk operations including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, and referral coordination
  • Verifying insurance coverage, processing authorizations, and collecting payments
  • Maintaining accurate patient records by registering new patients and updating information in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
  • Preparing necessary documentation for administrative and clinical use
  • Answering phone calls and assisting patients in a courteous and professional manner
  • Upholding HIPAA compliance to ensure patient confidentiality
  • Fostering a welcoming healthcare environment for patients and visitors
