- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a similar front desk or medical receptionist role desired but not required
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism
Job Duties
- Managing front desk operations including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, and referral coordination
- Verifying insurance coverage, processing authorizations, and collecting payments
- Maintaining accurate patient records by registering new patients and updating information in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
- Preparing necessary documentation for administrative and clinical use
- Answering phone calls and assisting patients in a courteous and professional manner
- Upholding HIPAA compliance to ensure patient confidentiality
- Fostering a welcoming healthcare environment for patients and visitors
