Job Requirements

  • Basic customer service skills
  • Ability to manage front desk operations
  • Knowledge of insurance verification and billing processes
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records systems preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Basic office and customer service skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role desired but not required

Job Duties

  • Managing front desk operations including patient check-in and check-out, appointment scheduling, and referral coordination while providing exceptional customer service
  • Verifying insurance coverage, processing authorizations, and collecting payments to support accurate billing and ensure smooth patient access to care
  • Maintaining accurate patient records by registering new patients, updating information in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, and preparing necessary documentation
  • Answering phone calls and assisting patients in a courteous and professional manner while upholding HIPAA compliance and fostering a welcoming healthcare environment
