Job Duties
- Managing front desk operations including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, and referral coordination
- Verifying insurance coverage, processing authorizations, and collecting payments
- Maintaining accurate patient records by registering new patients and updating information in the EMR system
- Preparing necessary documentation to support clinical functions
- Answering phone calls and assisting patients in a courteous and professional manner while upholding HIPAA compliance
- Fostering a welcoming healthcare environment for all patients
- Supporting billing accuracy through appropriate data collection and verification
