Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- completion of Novant Health sponsored training program
- Life Support Responder certification within 90 days of employment
- completion of Novant Health Safety Attendant training
- current BLS certification from American Heart Association
- ability to communicate effectively
- ability to write effectively
- basic computer skills
- ability to follow nursing and hospital policies and procedures
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Perform direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting
- assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment
- perform terminal cleaning of the operating room and prepare rooms for new patients
- clean and re-make patient stretchers and beds
- participate in OR suite turnovers between cases
- deliver specimens, labs, blood to and from the OR
- transport patients as directed by a nurse
- follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment
- perform all other duties as assigned
