Job Requirements
- Doctor of medicine degree or equivalent
- Completion of cardiology fellowship
- Board certification in cardiology
- Licensure to practice medicine in Kentucky
- Proven experience in cardiology clinical practice
- Ability to manage a patient volume of 20-25 daily
- Willingness to participate in hospital call schedule
Job Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in cardiology
- Valid medical license to practice in Kentucky
- Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-specialty team
- Commitment to patient-centered care
Job Duties
- Provide comprehensive cardiology care including diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Manage patient treatments such as cardioversion, pacemaker and ICD implants
- Collaborate with multi-specialty teams for coordinated patient care
- Participate in shared call schedule for hospitals
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
- Educate patients and families on cardiac health and treatment plans
- Stay current with advances in cardiology through continuous education
