Job Requirements

  • Doctor of medicine degree or equivalent
  • Completion of cardiology fellowship
  • Board certification in cardiology
  • Licensure to practice medicine in Kentucky
  • Proven experience in cardiology clinical practice
  • Ability to manage a patient volume of 20-25 daily
  • Willingness to participate in hospital call schedule

Job Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification in cardiology
  • Valid medical license to practice in Kentucky
  • Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-specialty team
  • Commitment to patient-centered care

Job Duties

  • Provide comprehensive cardiology care including diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Manage patient treatments such as cardioversion, pacemaker and ICD implants
  • Collaborate with multi-specialty teams for coordinated patient care
  • Participate in shared call schedule for hospitals
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
  • Educate patients and families on cardiac health and treatment plans
  • Stay current with advances in cardiology through continuous education
