Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • one year of bartending experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • must be at least 21 years of age or older to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • one year of bartending experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties
  • alcohol awareness training

Job Duties

  • Stock bar
  • mix and serve alcoholic beverages
  • assist in cost control
  • maintain inventory records
  • maintain inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of food and beverage products
  • communicate with management when supplies are needed
  • ensure compliance with state liquor laws and standard operating procedures
  • communicate guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager
  • perform opening and closing duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking
  • accountable for checks and cash transactions
  • utilize Point of Sales System
  • review banquet schedule and calendar of events
  • serve catered parties from service or portable bars
  • occasionally serve meals to guests
  • incorporate safe work practices
  • perform other duties as required
