Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout shifts
- Frequent bending kneeling reaching and climbing stairs across event spaces
- Must be capable of lifting carrying pushing or pulling up to 50 lbs eg trays linens equipment
- Comfortable working in dynamic environments conference centers ballroom floors banquet halls and outdoor spaces
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in banquet or event service leadership at a resort or large venue
- Strong supervisory and team-motivation skills in high-volume environments
- Exceptional organizational communication and guest service abilities
- Ability to stay calm decisive and solution-oriented under pressure
- Flexible schedule is a must events often include evenings weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Supervise and coordinate banquet staff during setup service and breakdown phases of events
- Ensure all banquet spaces are arranged precisely to Banquet Event Orders and layout standards
- Lead pre-event briefings assign staff duties and manage staffing levels to meet event needs
- Monitor guest experience on the floor promptly addressing questions requests or adjustments
- Serve as the primary contact with event planners and clients before and during functions to ensure satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen stewards catering and other departments to maintain service excellence
- Uphold safety sanitation and alcohol service regulations throughout all operations
