Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout shifts
  • Frequent bending kneeling reaching and climbing stairs across event spaces
  • Must be capable of lifting carrying pushing or pulling up to 50 lbs eg trays linens equipment
  • Comfortable working in dynamic environments conference centers ballroom floors banquet halls and outdoor spaces

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in banquet or event service leadership at a resort or large venue
  • Strong supervisory and team-motivation skills in high-volume environments
  • Exceptional organizational communication and guest service abilities
  • Ability to stay calm decisive and solution-oriented under pressure
  • Flexible schedule is a must events often include evenings weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate banquet staff during setup service and breakdown phases of events
  • Ensure all banquet spaces are arranged precisely to Banquet Event Orders and layout standards
  • Lead pre-event briefings assign staff duties and manage staffing levels to meet event needs
  • Monitor guest experience on the floor promptly addressing questions requests or adjustments
  • Serve as the primary contact with event planners and clients before and during functions to ensure satisfaction
  • Collaborate with kitchen stewards catering and other departments to maintain service excellence
  • Uphold safety sanitation and alcohol service regulations throughout all operations
