We are currently seeking an experienced Fine Dining Captain to join the front-of-house team. This position is pivotal to ensuring that our guests receive a flawless and luxurious dining experience from the moment they arrive. As a Fine Dining Captain at Nisei, you will be entrusted with leading and coordinating service within your assigned stations, embodying professionalism and grace. The role involves warmly greeting guests, attending to their needs with care and discretion, expertly guiding them through our menu and wine selections, and managing the timing and execution of courses in close coordination with the kitchen and service personnel. Your leadership will help cultivate a smooth, elegant flow of service while upholding the highest standards of presentation and etiquette.

In addition to guest-facing duties, you will be responsible for mentoring and training junior service staff, helping them develop the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver the level of service expected at a Michelin star establishment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fine dining or similar hospitality role
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong understanding of service standards and etiquette
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
