Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience as a patient care representative preferred
  • At least two years of experience in healthcare, mental health, behavioral health, or related field preferred
  • Experience on a college or university campus preferred
  • Experience working in a setting requiring a high degree of confidentiality preferred
  • Ability to multitask and work well under high pressure preferred
  • Bilingual skills preferred
  • Knowledge of mathematics and statistics
  • Knowledge of research and analysis techniques
  • Proficiency with computers and relevant software applications
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prepare reports and analyze program information
  • Ability to develop, recommend, interpret, and apply policies and procedures
  • Ability to plan, organize, and direct work of others

Job Duties

  • Perform receptionist duties for Counseling and Psychological Services
  • Handle clerical and administrative tasks to support mental health programs
  • Verify documentation before processing
  • Assist clients with accessing CAPS resources
  • Answer incoming calls and provide excellent customer service
  • Adhere strictly to confidentiality policies regarding client information
  • Maintain regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance
