Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Aviation Management or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years related experience in an aircraft service facility
  • Project management training
  • Knowledge of FAA and Federal Aviation Requirements
  • Familiarity with process improvement methods like Six Sigma
  • Computer skills for word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email, and web applications
  • Knowledge of planning and scheduling systems
  • Good organizational and communication abilities
  • Ability to coordinate team workloads and schedules effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, database, email, and web-based applications

  • Understanding of customer needs from a service center
  • Knowledge of airline operations and flight scheduling
  • Thorough knowledge of planning and scheduling systems
  • Detailed knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs
  • Familiarity with data security systems as required by site
  • Business writing skills to create reports and correspondence
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Planning and organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships

Job Duties

  • Adhere to Bombardier general work requirements
  • Provide capacity planning and scheduling functions for the repair station including staffing forecasts and hangar plans
  • Interface with management in support of the RFP process
  • Coordinate department activities to integrate with data processing, planning, and production control
  • Provide guidance and monitor progress on major systems projects
  • Oversee, develop, and coordinate readiness plans for new customers at assigned sites
  • Schedule aircraft operators into the service center for maintenance, modifications, and service bulletin compliance including airframe, avionics, engines, interior, and paint
