Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of direct food or retail management experience
- prior experience with inventory management, supply cost and shrinkage controls
- proven track record in building sales, increasing profits, and staff development
- ability to assess business needs and solve problems
- hands-on leadership focused on service and hospitality
- proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- experience with POS systems
- ServSafe certification required within 90 days of hire
- associate degree preferred in Business, Hospitality, or Management
Job Duties
- Develop and execute strategic plans aligning with organizational goals
- achieve financial targets including net operating income and gross margin
- manage inventory, health and safety compliance, employee and labor relations
- recruit, develop, and lead collaborative and successful teams
- conduct timely and consistent performance evaluations
- ensure compliant processes in all canteen functions including planograms, retail point-of-sale systems, inventory control, stock scheduling, food safety, sanitation, and promotions
- confirm canteen operations meet NSF standards and audit goals
- maintain up-to-date training compliance via TMS
- manage budgeting and cost control with a focus on financial margin improvement
- identify operational improvements and implement best practices to enhance customer experience
- build strong relationships with Medical Center leadership and other stakeholders
- proficiently use Microsoft Office Suite and retail technology for effective communication and operations
