Job Requirements
- Serve a 1-year trial period to evaluate fitness and public interest advancement

Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years direct food or retail management experience
- Experience in inventory management, supply cost and shrinkage controls, and P&L management
- Proven track record of increasing sales and profits and developing staff
- Ability to assess business needs and solve problems
- Hands-on leadership with focus on customer service and hospitality
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word and Excel
- Experience with point-of-sale systems
- ServSafe certification required or to be obtained within 90 days of hire
- Associate degree preferred but not required in Business, Hospitality, or Management
Job Duties
- Develop and execute strategic plans aligning with organizational goals
- Achieve financial targets including NOI and gross margin
- Manage inventory, health and safety compliance, employee and labor relations
- Recruit, develop, and lead collaborative and successful teams
- Conduct performance management and hold teams accountable through evaluations
- Ensure proper and compliant processes for all canteen functions including planograms, retail point-of-sale systems, inventory control, stock scheduling, food safety, sanitation, and promotions
- Confirm compliance with NSF standards and audit goals
- Manage and oversee training and compliance including TMS trainings
- Understand and command financial statements including budgeting and cost control
- Identify operational improvements and implement best practices to enhance customer experience
- Build and maintain relationships with Medical Center leadership and other stakeholders
- Utilize technology including Microsoft Office Suite and POS systems for communication and operational efficiency
