Job Requirements

  • Regularly lift up to 50 lbs
  • perform repetitive hand tasks
  • walk, climb, stoop, and crouch
  • good vision including color differentiation
  • ability to work in hot, humid, or brightly lit conditions
  • occasionally exposed to fumes, vapors, and toxic chemicals
  • must wear PPE

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • high school diploma or GED required
  • at least 6 months of experience in cannabis propagation or growing
  • must obtain a Private Applicator License within 8 weeks of hire with a $1.00 hourly wage increase upon obtaining the license
  • proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • must be clean shaven to allow for proper fitting of respirator or PPE

Job Duties

  • Read and understand all labels for pesticides, fungicides, and biological controls
  • determine what, where, and when treatments are applied
  • mix and apply pesticides to plants and root zones in compliance with all regulations
  • maintain and clean sprayers, pumps, and other equipment
  • record and track all applications and ensure compliant chemical storage and disposal
  • wear proper PPE and maintain medical seal for respirator use
  • train and support new crew members
  • assist with R&D projects and complete other duties as assigned
