Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Willingness to learn about cannabis products and regulations
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math and cash handling abilities
- Knowledge of cannabis products and industry trends preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong customer service orientation
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
- Ability to follow security protocols
Job Duties
- Greet customers and listen for their needs
- Make product recommendations based on customer preferences
- Educate customers on product features and benefits without opening or consuming the product
- Process cash transactions in the point-of-sale system
- Stay current with sales prices, discounts, specials, and product demonstrations
- Monitor security and aid in loss prevention
- Arrange and display merchandise according to protocols
- Rotate product to ensure older items are in front
- Check inventory levels periodically
- Maintain a neat, organized, and clean merchandise area
