Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- Experience in restaurant guest service and reservations preferred
- Maricopa County Food Service Worker card preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance
- Availability to work scheduled shifts and attend consistently
- Ability to uphold resort standards and ethical behavior
- Flexibility to perform assigned duties including occasional physical tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Maricopa County Food Service Worker card preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Experience in restaurant guest service and reservations preferred
- Knowledge of restaurant operations including seating, capacity, staffing, service equipment, and guest relations
- Ability to memorize and recite menu items
- Ability to resolve customer complaints positively and effectively
- Ability to follow The Scott Resort & Spa standards and AAA Diamond standards
- Strong ethical behavior
- Effective communication skills including speaking, listening, reading, and writing in English
- Professional appearance appropriate for a four-diamond resort
Job Duties
- Answer incoming calls related to inquiries, reservations, and confirmations for groups larger than six guests
- Greet guests upon arrival, offer seating choices, and escort them to tables
- Communicate group bookings, special events, promotions, daily specials, and guest feedback to staff
- Receive, record, and manage reservations and special event arrangements
- Answer phones in a friendly and courteous manner
- Assist in miscellaneous tasks such as carrying coffee or tea pots, refilling guest cups, cleaning windows and menus, and checking on guests in bar and patio areas
- Support management with additional duties as assigned
