Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- willing and able to travel domestically
- ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays
- valid driver’s license required
- goal-driven, detail-oriented team player
- excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills
- self-starter with the ability to multi-task
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Slate, and PeopleSoft
- 0-2 years of experience
- previous experience in a university admissions office with an event management background preferred
- bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Job Duties
- Demonstrate and reflect an understanding of and commitment to the mission and core values of Iona University and the Christian Brothers
- respond to visit inquiries, serving as the consistent point of contact throughout the pre-visit process, and securing time and travel commitment from visitors
- successfully implement the daily and weekend visit experience by scheduling student staff and organizing space and needs
- conduct daily information sessions for prospective students and visitors to the university
- answer incoming phone calls and respond to incoming emails as the primary customer service representative for the admissions office
- communicate with internal university constituents to arrange their participation in visit activities and resolve scheduling conflicts as they arise
- ascertain each visitor’s individual needs and interests to design an appropriate and appealing visit agenda
