Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • event planning experience
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • data entry experience
  • good organizational and time management skills
  • ability to deal effectively with others
  • proficiency in business software and office equipment
  • knowledge of proper phone etiquette

Job Duties

  • Responding to visit inquiries and securing commitment from visitors
  • communicating with internal university constituents and resolving scheduling conflicts
  • designing appropriate visit agendas based on visitor’s needs and interests
  • maintaining records and contact lists for prospective students, families, and faculty involved in visits
  • following guidelines for event planning and suggesting improvements
  • supervising, training, mentoring, and evaluating interns and managing Husky Ambassadors schedules
  • conducting information sessions and campus tours
  • assisting with admissions activities such as mass mailings, office errands, and reception duties
