Job Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent
  • 0-5 years of relevant experience
  • Academic retail experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen
  • Advanced relationship building and ability to influence a team
  • General computer skills
  • Minimal travel less than 10 percent

Job Duties

  • Execute sales promotions and special events
  • Partner with store leadership to review store financials and recalibrate goals
  • Operate cash registers and store systems adhering to safe cash handling procedures
  • Maintain inventory control and store cleanliness
  • Perform shipping and receiving responsibilities
  • Set sales floor to meet visual merchandise standards
  • Ensure security of company assets and adherence to policies
  • Supervise team members including training, coaching, and scheduling
  • Perform onboarding procedures for new hires
  • Provide coverage during breaks and peak periods
  • Greet customers and handle escalated issues
  • Drive market growth initiatives such as POS email collection
  • Maintain service level agreements for orders
  • Review customer feedback and provide proactive solutions
  • Communicate and partner with campus for store operational activities and events
  • Support general store operations as assigned
