Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 16
- ability to process sales transactions accurately
- dependable and punctual
- able to maintain a friendly and customer-focused attitude
- ability to operate a cash register and retail equipment
- capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting and frequent movement
- flexibility to work varied shifts and occasional weekends
- willingness to follow sanitation and safety standards including food safety if applicable
- compliance with health and campus safety protocols related to COVID-19
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age of 16 for temporary employment
- previous food handling experience preferred
- confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver elevated experiences
- outstanding attitude with willingness to learn and ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment
- basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills
- flexible availability including peak academic periods
Job Duties
- Assist with processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments
- provide a friendly atmosphere by greeting customers and focusing on their positive experience
- support store operations by operating equipment and cash register ensuring speed and accuracy
- maintain store appearance through shelving, arranging, cleaning, and organizing products
- prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold food and drinks according to recipes and techniques
- set up or restock displays, wrap, label, date, and rotate food items
- maintain a safe and healthy work environment following cleaning, sanitation, and operational standards
- perform routine housekeeping including dusting, mopping, window cleaning, vacuuming, and trash removal
- demonstrate flexibility in scheduling including availability on weekends and different shifts
- comply with store and campus COVID-19 protocols
